Mary Harkins 1858-1941 Indenture Papers of 1866
Mary Harkins 1858-1941 Indenture Papers of 1866
NMary was living at the Monson State Home for Children when she was indentured to the Cyrus Phelon family of Granville, Massachusetts. This document makes for interesting reading, particularly about the things Mr. Phelon had to provide for Mary. She was supposedly released early from her obligation to marry my great-grandfather, Nelson Moses Frisbie and the marriage lasted 67 years!
