    This history of the life of Anna Whittlesey was written by Natalie Jenkins Iafolla who is nine generations removed from Eliphalet Whittlesey, #42 in the 1992 W-W Genealogy, Father of Asaph. Asaph, along with his brothers Lemuel, Martin, Abner and his sister Anna, has been the subject of her historical reviews of their lives. Great incite into the wives of military men serving in the Revolutionary War and life in Litchfield County, Connecticut. Her husband was Major William Cogswell and his life is also portrayed.
